I have to be someone’s daughter: At early stage of my life I was expected to behave like a certain peer of my own age. I have to behave like a lady and also bear all the pains of growing up without complaining.
I have to be someone’s girlfriend: I have to be almost perfect for everything I wants to do and still face twice the competition compared to my piers in other to find and keep a good man.
I have to be someone’s wife: I am the one who makes adjustments and sacrifices. Taking care of my family is my vocation
I have to be someone’s mother: I am the one who has to endure and still be strong. I am the one who has to hide my tears behind a smile.
I Have to be someone’s grandmother: Manage to keep the whole family together and then after all this be the one who stands tall and takes a stand for my loved ones.
Then at the end they will say: ” She has been a great woman”
We need to salute every woman whom we come across because you never know what battle she is facing at that particular moment.
Now this is the question I am asking:
With today’s busy pace, How can a woman have “Me” time so she can recharge her batteries? ?? Your suggestions are more than welcome….
Happy Mothers day
